Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
This notice applies to everyone who uses First Step to Wellness. If you live in Washington, Nevada, or another state with a consumer health data law, you have specific rights, and they are described below.
Effective date: September 6, 2026
1. What we mean by health information
Health information means anything you tell us about your body or your mood. In this app, that includes:
- Your answers on any assessment.
- Symptoms you report and the patterns we see in them.
- The remedy or protocol we recommend to you.
- Your daily mood check ins.
- Your progress through your plan.
- Anything you write to Pocket Chris.
2. How we collect it
You give it to us directly. It comes from the assessment, the check in, your plan, and the chat.
We do not buy health information from anyone. We do not guess it from your browsing, and we run no trackers that would let us.
3. How we use it
To show you your results.
To build your plan and adjust it as you go.
To let Chris support you and prepare for your sessions.
To send you the messages you asked for, like reminders.
We do not use it for anything else.
4. Who can see it
You can see it. Chris can see it. That is the whole list of people.
Some companies handle it for us so the service can run. They are our hosting and database provider, our email provider, and our customer relationship system.
They process it on our behalf, under contract. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
5. We do not sell it
We do not sell your health information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not share it with data brokers. There is no exception to this.
6. Your rights
You can see what we hold. Email us and we will send you a copy of your health information.
You can have it deleted. Email us and ask, and we will delete it and tell our service providers to delete their copies.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and say you want to withdraw it, and we stop collecting and using your health information going forward.
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already happened before you asked. If you also want your past information removed, ask us to delete it.
We will never charge you or reduce your service for using any of these rights. If we ever have to say no to a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
7. How long we keep it and what deletion means
We keep your health information while you are working with us, so your plan and your history stay useful to you.
When you ask us to delete it, we remove your answers, your results, your plan progress, your mood check ins, and your chat history from our systems, and we ask our service providers to do the same.
Deletion cannot be undone. Once it is gone, we cannot bring your plan or your history back.
We may keep a plain record that you asked, and basic order or payment records if tax rules require it. Those records do not contain your health answers.
8. How to reach us
Email chris@chrisevewellness.com. Put "health data request" in the subject line so we spot it fast. We will confirm we got it and take care of it.
